Here at J X E, we love upcycling our old pieces, adding our custom hand painted touch to any garment—turning it from meh to wow!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
OPTION 1: Either bring us your piece (L.A based) or ship it to the studio.
OPTION 2: We can source that special piece for you! All of the pieces we source are vintage, up-cycled leathers and silks. (Please read about the process here). Based on your questionnaire, I will send a quote. After confirmation, I will seek out pieces that match your preferences. In order to start the process, I will need a 50% deposit of the final price. This fee is non-refundable as it is payment for the time it takes to source, prep, paint, re-line, and finish the piece. When completed, the rest of the payment will be due, the piece will be shipped, and you will have 7 days to keep or return the garment for 50% partial refund.
PRICING: Ranges from $300+ depending on the piece, the style of painting,and any additions. EX: Silk lining,Satin lining, garment bag, custom label, etc. For example: (personal garments only) a short black jacket painted with broad strokes, no silk lining or extra additions can range from $300-$450. A long white trench coat, handpainted color, super detailed, relined in charmeuse silk, hand-made label can range from $1,500-$3,500.
