Nocturnal Visions is a photographic series that charts the emotional stages of love through underwater still life. The artist creates each scene by arranging real flowers inside a glass tank, then releasing colored inks and dyes into the water. As the pigments move and mix, they stain the petals and transform the arrangement into something raw, chaotic, and otherworldly.

This process becomes a visual metaphor for the inner shifts experienced through love — its beauty, its distortions, and its inevitable change. Each image reflects a phase in the artist’s personal journey: falling in love, addiction, eruption, healing, and surrender.

Water, with its ability to both reveal and obscure, serves as the medium of emotion. The glass tank becomes a contained world where sentiment, symbolism, and chemistry collide.

The result is a series that mirrors not only the artist’s path, but a universal story — how we break, soften, and ultimately come home to ourselves through the experience of love.

“we return to each other in waves.
this is how water loves.”
